Why am I doing this?

I used to write stories for my friends when I was in highschool. That was aaaaages ago. Because my job, I haven’t really had a chance to do anything creative for a long time because my brain is usually dead when I get home. It’s like having a decade long writer’s block. And so, writing SimLit is my way of getting back into writing and churning about my imagination again. It’s also a challenge that I imposed on myself not only to create stories out of pictures or events that happens to my sims but also to try and not be so controlling when it comes to my own gameplay.

How do I write?

My posts are mostly Game-Driven or Sim-Driven. I try not to influence my sims to do what I want and screenshot every event that I think would be interesting and then write whatever story I can come up with regarding that picture with consideration to what is actually happening in my game. But since I do have goals that I need to accomplish, seeing as I’m following challenges and all, I still have to have some measure of control over what my sims do so I can get things done.

Do I respond to messages and comments?

I try to. But most of the time, I run out of words and things to say.

Because I am an introvert who is working in a field where I’m required to talk to people, I tend to get sick of being around humans very often. That means that sometimes I just can’t bring myself up to talking to anyone, even online. It just exhausts me.

So please forgive me if I don’t answer messages or comments that are sent to me as quick as I should. I will get to it as soon as I can, it’s just very likely that I was introverting at the time that you sent your message/comment or just can’t find something to say in return other than “thank you”. I blame my brain. So I apologize in advance but please feel free to leave messages and/or comments to me, I will gladly welcome them.
