What is happening to your brain that you’ve decided to start this email writing thing? You do know that we can still text or call each other right? I know, you’re worried that you’re going to bother me while I’m at school but still, texting or calling is more convenient. But since this is what you want then I will grant you your wish. Email writing it is!
I know that you and Mom were at odds when I left but I hope you know that she’s only worried about you. We’re all worried about you but Mom’s the only one whose got the balls to yell at you. You shouldn’t think that she’s always out to get you. Keep in mind that no parent wants to see their child being escorted home by a cop. Put yourself in her shoes and you’ll see what I mean.
Anyway, you said you wanted me to tell you what I’m doing in school or what’s happening around me so here it goes. I joined a fraternity here. It’s strangely easy to get into it actually. I didn’t even really do anything. I arrived at the frat house along with my other fraternity brothers or bros, whatever it is that they’re calling themselves, so I had to run to each room and choose mine very quickly.
I found a great looking room too. Wallpaper’s pretty bland but I can deal with it. I’m not going to spend money on a house that isn’t mine so I really don’t have a choice, do I? But I did make sure to grab an easel next door and move it into my room before the others noticed. Traitorish? Maybe. But now I have a computer in my room and a painting easel.
Orientation was blah. I expected that, but it’s something that all Freshman has to go to. What I was really curious about is the sorority house just within walking distance of my frat house. I know, I have Courtny there at home and I am going to stay faithful to her as much as I can while I’m here. But still, you’d be curious too, right?
So I went and visited the sorority house nearby. Remember it? Mom told us about it, she said she had friends there and asked me to see if there were any legacies, if her friends have had children too and have joined that same sorority.
Here’s the thing, I think Mom’s friends are all still there.
Weird right? They should have been Mom’s age but they’re the same age as me. I’m pretty sure they also have the same name. Mom’s friends can’t all have named their children the same name as theirs. And before you ask me, no, they are all not vampires, fairies, or werewolves. I asked, most of them are humans. The vampire Ashely was also still there, remember her too? Mom says she’s pretty and she is. I wanted to ask her what’s the deal with her immortal human sisters but I was scared she’d bite me so I didn’t get to find out anything.
I’d try and look more into it. It’d be a great intro to my investigative writing career if it is what I’ll end up doing in my life eventually right? I’ll write you more when I have time. In the meantime, stay awesome bro.
Big Bro the 1st,
